This Privacy Policy applies only to AMS’s receipt and use of your information.  As discussed in the TOU, AMS provides contract based, non-legal administrative services to our affiliates and law firms in our professional network (the “Law Firms”) in exchange for a fee that is paid exclusively by the Law Firms that receive AMS’s administrative services.  AMS is neither affiliated with the Law Firms nor participates in, administers or has any responsibilities or obligations regarding your mortgage modification or related program and its success or failure. The Law Firms’ privacy policies cover the treatment of your information once it is received thereby.  By inputting your information on our Website, you expressly consent to AMS sharing such information with our affiliates or Law Firms. 

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time.  We will post any changes to this Privacy Policy here so that you will always know what information we gather, how that information may be used, and whether that information will be disclosed to anyone.  Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.  By using our Website or any of our services, products, offerings, features, tools or resources that we provide on or through our Website, you expressly agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information Sharing Policy

1.         What Information About Me Is Collected On Our Website And How Is It Collected?

We collect two types of information:  (a) personally identifiable information and (b) non-personally identifiable information.

a.         Personally Identifiable Information

Personal information is information about you, the user, that is personally identifiable and that is not otherwise publicly available.  Personally identifiable information is information about you, the user, that is required by our affiliates or Law Firms for their engagement. During the application process established by our affiliates or Law Firms, we may collect and process a wide variety of personal and financial data including, but not limited to:

• Debt Information (Mortgage Account Information, Numbers & Balances)
• Personal Information (Social Security Number, Salary, Pay Period, Employer, Occupation, Industry)
• Demographic Information (Age, Birth Date, Gender, Ethnicity)
• Budget/Hardship Information (Assets, Monthly Expenses, Other Income, Reasons for Hardship)

This personal information is stored by us and shared with the Law Firms to facilitate your retention thereof.  

b.         Non-Personally Identifiable Information: Cookies and Web Beacons

We automatically receive and record non-personally identifiable information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the pages you request.  Specifically, AMS uses “cookies” (small files placed on your hard drive) on certain pages of the Website to help analyze our web page flow, customize our services, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety.  A few important things you should know about cookies are that:

     b.         Opt-out Policy
If you prefer that we do not send you email communications or telephone messages, you may opt-out of those services, that is, you may direct us not to use your email address as part of our marketing efforts for new products and services.  If you wish to opt-out of email communications, you may do so by emailing customersupport@amsresults.com , or by replying to an existing email with your request to be removed from the mailing list or by calling (949)-273-1135. In addition, if you identify yourself to us by sending us an email with questions or comments, we may use your information (including personally identifiable information) to respond to your questions or comments, and we may file your questions or comments for future reference.

Upon your decision to retain services from one of our affiliates or Law Firms, AMS forwards certain of your personal information that is collected on our Website to the Law Firm selected by you.  Other than sharing your personal information with the affiliate or Law Firm retained by you, AMS does not disclose any personally identifiable information about you to third parties (including our affiliates) without your consent; however, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.  

You have the right to request that any affiliates of AMS provide you with a copy of their privacy notice. 

5.         Does This Privacy Policy Apply When I Link To Other Websites?

Our Website contains links to other websites not owned or operated by us.  Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites.  We encourage you to be aware when our Website links to other websites and to read the privacy policies or statements of each and every website.  This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by our Website.
